About Texoma
From Chapel Hill and Durham, North Carolina, Texoma brings their own version of “top notch songwriting” paired with “endearingly ragged” music to the Triangle Rock scene.
Their 2016 release “The Prospect” received 4.0 out of 5 stars from Divide and Conquer while at the same time receiving rave review from The Indyweek. Their recently released album “Summer Kid” stretches their earlier “Dust Rock” genre into a higher energy “Vintage Power Pop” style of tunes.
The’re well known for playing with restraint while providing a dynamic listening experience filled with hooks and riffs that keep the crowd energized and ready to come back for more!
Pulling inspiration from worldly favorites such as Wilco, The Replacements, and Tom Petty, as well as some of their favorite local influences such as Max Indian and The Drughorse Collective, Texoma brings a song to the table for every listener.
Texoma Is…
Randy T Jones, Robert Loehr, Linus Owen-Garni, Mark SImonsen, & Zach Terry.
We’ve played in other bands such as The Old Ceremony, The Magnolia Collective, People Under the Bridge, The Whiskey Smugglers, and many more.
Aside from that, we’re just nice guys who won’t be super loud or destroy the green room, and who will bring a load of fun and steady rock tunes to your venue.
